ReceptionSit ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

## 1. What we collect

- **Account info:** name, email, and company details you provide during sign-up or Google Sign-In.
- **Agent setup:** business name, agent name, greeting script, and default language for your AI receptionist.
- **Usage & billing status:** subscription plan, active/cancelled status, and billing references (not card numbers).
- **Technical data:** browser type, IP address, and basic logs for security and reliability.

## 2. How we use your data

- To configure and operate your AI phone receptionist.
- To manage your account, agents, and subscriptions.
- To send service emails (purchase confirmations, cancellation notices, setup updates).
- To prevent abuse and keep the platform secure.

## 3. Firebase & Google

We use **Firebase** (Google) for authentication and data storage. Your profile and agent settings are stored in Firebase Firestore under your user account.

## 4. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by a **secure third-party payment provider**. When you checkout, you interact directly with our payment partner. They store your payment method and send receipts. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, updated, or cancelled — we never see or store your full card details.

## 5. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions. We use Google Analytics (via the Google tag) to measure page visits and improve the site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

## 6. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account from your account page. Account deletion removes your profile and agent data, cancels active subscriptions, and deletes your sign-in credentials. We may keep your email address and business phone number on file to send you occasional updates about ReceptionSit. You can opt out by emailing support@receptionsit.com.
